Sundry Markets is recruiting Accounting Trainees (Cash Officers) for its 2026 Accounting Trainee Programme in Benin City, Edo State, Nigeria. Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial and cash transaction records
- Record daily sales and expense transactions with proper documentation
- Support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions
- Verify invoices, process supplier payments, and reconcile accounts
- Assist in preparing financial statements and internal management reports
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reviews
- Participate in audit processes and internal control checks
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies

Requirements & Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Must not be more than 30 years of age
- Completion of NYSC or possession of a valid exemption letter
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic accounting software
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to learn and grow within the retail finance environment
