As our transaction volumes grow, we are strengthening our treasury and FX dealing desk. We are looking for a Treasury & FX Executive who can manage liquidity

Job Description
- TranzyPay is a growing fintech building cross-border payment infrastructure between Africa and the West.
- We help businesses move money internationally while managing FX, liquidity, and settlement across multiple currencies.
- As our transaction volumes grow, we are strengthening our treasury and FX dealing desk.
- We are looking for a Treasury & FX Executive who can manage liquidity, execute trades, and help grow our FX business across African markets.
- This role is hands-on and commercial. You will be expected to operate independently, execute trades, and work directly with clients and liquidity partners.
Responsibilities
- FX Trading & Liquidity Management
- Execute FX trades across African currencies, including NGN, GHS, KES, ZAR, and XAF
- Monitor FX markets and price transactions competitively
- Manage currency liquidity and support daily treasury operations
- Maintain accurate trade records and confirmations
Settlement & Treasury Operations:
- Coordinate settlements with banks, payment partners, and liquidity providers
- Ensure transactions are executed and settled correctly
- Support daily treasury reconciliation and reporting
- Help manage multi-currency positions
Business Development:
- Source new FX and cross-border payment business from:
- remittance companies
- fintech firms
- payment institutions
- African-focused corporates
- Manage and grow an existing client portfolio
- Provide FX pricing and market insights to clients
Partner Relationships:
- Maintain strong working relationships with:
- FX brokers
- payment partners
- liquidity providers
- correspondent banks
- Help identify new liquidity partners to strengthen our network.
Requirements
Experience:
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Must have 3 years experience in treasury, FX dealing, or payments
- Experience working at a bank, fintech, FX brokerage, or financial institution
- 3+ years of work experience with FX Spot
- Bachelor's Degree
- 3+ years of Financial Services experience
- Accept a background check
- 2+ years of work experience with anti-money laundering.
Experience trading or managing African currencies, including:
- NGN
- GHS
- KES
- ZAR
- XAF
- Familiarity with cross-border payments and FX settlement flows
- Candidates without relevant treasury or FX dealing experience should not apply.
Skills:
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Commercial mindset and ability to generate deals
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to accuracy, risk management, and settlement discipline
- Comfortable working in a fast-growing fintech environment.
