Job Overview
Gabs Cooperative is recruiting a Marketing Officer for a full-time, on-site role based in the Central Business District (CBD), Abuja, Federal Capital Territory (FCT). This position is ideal for motivated individuals with strong sales, marketing, and customer relationship skills, especially within the financial services and cooperative sector.
The successful candidate will support loan processing, customer acquisition, product marketing, and relationship management while ensuring compliance with lending policies and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Process loan applications and related documentation within approved limits
- Maintain and update customer account records accurately and in line with compliance standards
- Develop referral networks and explore alternative customer acquisition channels
- Cross-sell cooperative products and services to meet assigned sales targets
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with customers throughout the underwriting process
- Support customer satisfaction, loyalty, and retention initiatives
- Ensure compliance with lending laws, regulations, and internal company policies
- Actively market Gabs Cooperative loan products and financial services
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to achieve marketing and operational goals
Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum qualification: SSCE, HND, or B.Sc in any discipline
- Strong communication, marketing, and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Customer-focused mindset with good interpersonal skills
- Must be resident in Abuja (FCT)
- Previous experience in marketing, sales, or financial services is an advantage
